BATTLING Coleford United gained only their second point of the season, holding Mitcheldean to a 1-1 draw.
Damon Beaumont salvaged a point for Mitcheldean after Howells gave Coleford a shock lead.
Tidenham also look in relegation trouble after losing 5-2 at home to Huntley.
Dave Drewell and Nick Hanson found the net for Tidenham, but Craig Walding (pictured) and Will Freeman added to a Marc Matthews hat-trick for the visitors.
Tidenham are two points above second from bottom Newent Town, but have played five games more.
John Westby scored the only goal of the game as Westbury United edged out English Bicknor.
Dan Grech (2) and Charlie Powell shot Newnham United to a hard fought 3-2 win at Mushet & Coalway.
Will Kyne and Paul Akers replied for the Mushet men.
In Division One, goals from Coleman, Kibble, Coombs and Dan Morgan gave Ruardean Hill Reserves a 4-1 success at Rank Outsiders. Jack Fowler was the Ranks scorer. All of the goals came in the first half.
Third placed Bream thumped fourth placed Redbrook Rovers 6-1 with efforts from Sam Hill (3), Mark Munter, Dave Jenkins and Rob Thomas. Tom Wareham claimed Redbrook's consolation.
Leaders Whitecroft stretched their advantage at the top to seven points with a 4-0 win at bottom club Blakeney.
Lewis Frazer-Holland bagged a goal in each half, with Keith Paterson and Adam Brown netting after the break.
Divisions Two, Three & Four
DAMIAN Goodman and Justin Price fired second half goals as White Horse came back from 2-0 down to snatch a point at Lydbrook Athletic A.
Paul Stenner notched both first half goals for Lydbrook.
Lydney Town A saw off Soudley Reserves 4-2, despite a Gareth Morgan brace for the losers.
Bobby Hatch (2) and Rob McAfee led Howle Hill to a 3-2 success at Staunton & Corse Reserves. Ian Phelps and Dan Walters grabbed the Staunton goals.
Worrall Hill climbed to second in Division Three with a 4-0 win at home to Minsterworth Reserves.
John Montana, Carl Smith (2) and James Brain (pictured) were their marksmen.
Redmarley won 2-1 at home to Blakeney's second string with efforts from Dan Dashey and Tom Hawkins, while an Adam Jacobs goal gave Milkwall Reserves all the points against Tidenham Reserves.
Puma Reserves won 1-0 at home to Rank Outsiders Reserves with a first half strike from Dan James.
Chepstow Rifles now top Division Four following their 6-1 defeat of Hardwicke A, courtesy of Barrett (4), Gribble and Farrington.
Only four points separate the top five clubs, however, with Ruardean United second in the table after their 1-0 win at United Longhope. Alan Williams scored a crucial goal.
Viney Reserves remain firmly in the promotion picture with Mark Bamford (3), Jordan Locke, Jamie Baker and Wayne Nyland shooting down Littledean.
Dan Gwilliam hit both goals for the losers.
Leon Morgan, Kyle Lane, Jon Buckle, Nigel Barnfield, Rob Merryfield and Mitchell Hale netted for Yorkley Reserves in their 6-1 win over Whitecroft A.
