A 30-year-old Minsterworth man has been banned from driving for six months after admitting that he failed to tell the police who was at the wheel of a Ford Mondeo at the time of an alleged motoring offence.

Cheltenham magistrates said the disqualification of Jim Richards of Main Road, Minsterworth, was justified because of his ‘repeat offending.’

He was also fined £660 and ordered to pay £156 costs and surcharges.

The court was told he did not notify the police, as required between March 10 and  April 8 this year, who was driving the Mondeo when it was alleged to be guilty of an offence.
