OWN Truly Scrumptious in the centre of Cinderford. I have been trading there for 10 years. It's difficult for everybody at this moment in time, with the credit crunch.
As for the town's mayor Max Coborn being quoted in The Forester last week about Greggs moving into Cinderford – why?
Why would he support a national company?
What about the local people; after all you are our local mayor?
Also why would it give a boost to the town as we have already got a baker's and takeaway. I think it's a bad idea.
I think that the council should put a cap on what shops are allowed to be open in the town centre, as they are mainly charity shops, hair salons and takeaways. They should limit it to two of the same trades per town.
