TRAFFIC has returned to normal following an accident on the M5 Northbound around 9.15am today (Tuesday, March 3).

Reports say the accident was cleared around 10am, allowing traffic to move as normal, reducing congestion.

Traffic was slow moving and the M5 was partially blocked in Gloucestershire, while drivers faced delays on the northbound carriageway between junction 12 and 11.

At this time though, it is currently not known if anyone was injured.
