Kingsholm v Lydney

ANOTHER century stand from Will Jones and Jonny Kear enabled league leaders Lydney to chase down a target of 217 for victory.

Kear scored 72 from 75 balls and Jones 49 from 59 balls in an opening stand of 111.

Jake Bonser and Ed Jones added 21 and 24 respectively as Lydney won the game with nine balls to spare.

Earlier, Paul Morris picked up 3-52 and Will Jones 2-59 to keep Kingsholm in check after Veits (59) and Uthup (25) had given the home side a good start.

Kingsholm collapsed from 93-1 to 152-6, but recovered with an unbeaten seventh wicket partnership of 64 between Ian Eggleton (58 not out) and Duncan Normington (28 not out).
