A 33-year-old Lydney man who denied assaulting another man in the town last summer has been convicted by Cheltenham magistrates and is to be sentenced in February.

Casey Bowen of Edwin Jones Way, Lydney, denied assault causing actual bodily harm in Lydney between June 17-20 2021.

The magistrates found the case proved and gave unconditional bail until February 20 for a pre-sentence report.
