A LOCAL cat foster carer is gearing up to take part in the London Marathon this year to raise money for the Forest branch of Cat’s Protection.

Keen runner Lesley Sterry, from Beachley, has been accepted to take part in the marathon on April 26 after spending some time on the reserve list.
