ANOTHER attempt to expand a Beachley homes park has been deferred by Forest of Dean Council planners.

It is the third time in 18 months that a plan to knock down the existing but derelict Buttington Engineering Works buildings alongside the homes park was recommended to be rejected by the council’s Planning Committee.

There were attempts by Severn Bridge Park Homes to demolish the buildings and ‘station’ new ‘park homes’ and ‘caravans’ on the site in January and October last year, both of which were turned down.

And another attempt was withdrawn in March 2017 to enable time for more information to be gathered before submitting a planning application.
