REPRESENT a local group fundraising for Cancer Research UK. As a group, we are called The Winged Wonders.

We fund raise all year round, culminating each year in a Relay Weekend, held at Whitecross Leisure Centre in June. There are many such groups in the Forest but we each fund raise for the same cause, to try to find a cure for all 200 known Cancers.

Our group is holding a Fundraising evening at The Miners' Welfare Hall, Cinderford on Friday March 8, 2013. This will be a family event with Kevin Hogarth giving his services as The Kevin Rhodes Show, free of charge.

We are also planning a sponsored Head Shave (Jessica Hogarth) and a sponsored Leg Wax (Tom French). These will occur during the evening.

Obviously we need to attract as many people as possible to this event to maximise the monies raised and any publicity can only help.
