BASF announced on Tuesday that a proposed plan to consolidate manufacturing operations at its Cinderford plant could result in the loss of 50 jobs. The company said in a statement that it plans quitting its electronic scrap, gold and silver recycling business in Cinderford to concentrate on the fast-growing autocatalysts recycling market.
