LAST week, a bid to build 200 homes in Allaston Road, Lydney was rejected by planners.

Now, a separate developer is looking to build a solar farm on fields in the same area.

TGC Renewables, based in Glasgow and Bristol, is in the early stages of putting a planning application together for a solar farm across four fields on land at Hulks Farm in Allaston Road.
