PRESSURE group Hands Off Our Forest (HOOF) lobbied Labour's shadow environment secretary during her visit to the Forest last week.

Maria Eagle MP heard campaigners' concerns during a visit to Beechenhurst.

HOOF is concerned about the lack of long term safeguards for the Forest, and wants assurances it will not be sold off to private buyers.
