A MAN has died after a car collision on Saturday evening near Harrow Hill, Drybrook.
The 38-year-old was driving a green Ford Fiesta when it left the road and hit a tree on the A4136 near the junction to Oakland Road at around 5.50pm on July 2.
The man, from Hartpury, was airlifted to Southmead Hospital in Bristol with ’life threatening’ head injuries and sadly passed away at around 11.15am yesterday, Sunday July 3.
His next of kin were informed of the incident and visited him at the hospital.
The road was closed by police between the mini-roundabout near The Lamb Inn in Mitcheldean and the traffic lights at Nailbridge from 6:10pm until 11:30pm.
Gloucestershire Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, or anyone who saw the car prior to the collision, to come forwardAnyone with information should contact the police on 101 quoting incident 379 of July 2.
