MORE than 130 people attended Lydney Rugby Club's annual presentation dinner at the clubhouse last Friday night.

Back-row men Tim Longton and Matt Taylor walked off with the top honours.

Matt was named coaches' player of the year, with Tim receiving the players' player award.

Front-row forward Nick Selway was named young player of the year after a hugely promising first season in the National Leagues.

The United team's players of the year were Liam Trigg (coaches' pick) and Curtis Russell (players' player).

The Roger Arrow Smith award for club person of the year was presented to United team manager Stuart Thomas for his outstanding contribution to the club's development.
