TRADERS in Mitcheldean have partially won their battle to get free parking reinstated in the village centre. At last Thursday's District Council Cabinet meeting, members voted to allow for 14 free parking spaces. Brian Robinson, cabinet member for an efficient council, said: "We've taken on board the comments made about car parking in Mitcheldean and the impact it has had on traders, who felt the charges had been a hindrance to their businesses.
