THE club house on Lydney' s old golf course has been destroyed in a suspected arson attack.

Two fire crews from Lydney and two from Coleford were called out to the blaze at around 3.30pm on Monday.

The derelict building off Lakeside Avenue was well alight when firefighters arrived. They spent around two hours putting it out and making the scene safe.
