A Forest of Dean wedding and portrait photographer has scooped a top annual award which celebrates the finest local businesses.

Ruspidge-based Capture this Moment Photography has been voted Best Photographer in Gloucestershire and Worcestershire 2022 by one of the UK’s biggest lifestyle platforms, Muddy Stilettos.

Regional winners were chosen by a public vote, making the accolade even more special for Kathryn Goddard, the woman behind the lens of Capture this Moment Photography, which covers Gloucestershire, the Cotswolds and the south west.

“I really do appreciate everyone who took the time to vote for me, “ said Kathryn, who focuses on colourful, natural photography, and also runs workshops.

“I am always so grateful to everyone who puts their trust in me to capture images, whether it is for their business, their family or of their wedding.”

Mum of two Kathryn moved to the Forest of Dean more than a decade ago, and has enjoyed exploring the area and building her business, which includes branding, portrait and wedding photography.

Muddy Stilettos is a popular guide to the best local restaurants, walks, boutiques, day trips, hotels, interiors and events. The awards were sponsored by Heathily and Gloucestershire Quays.

Kathryn will celebrate her win at the glamorous Muddy Stilettos awards ceremony at the Pitville Pump Rooms in Cheltenham on Wednesday July 6; Capture this Moment Photography will now enter the national awards, to be held in September 2022.
