THE FOREST of Dean Cycle Centre has announced it is going paperless in its car park in a move aimed at cutting waste and improving reliability.
Forestry England says the change is part of its efforts to reduce environmental impact, while also tackling common issues with ticket machines running out of paper or getting jammed.
Visitors will still be able to get a receipt by text or email, and regular users can continue to save money on parking through a local or national membership scheme available online.
If the car park is full, Forestry England recommends nearby alternatives such as Beechenhurst or Cannop Ponds – all of which link to the Cycle Centre via the Colliers Trail.
