VALUABLE family heirlooms have been stolen - from a caravan near Newnham.

Ben Swinley, the owner of Haylings Farm, the biggest traditional orchard in the Forest, says he has been targeted by burglars on many occasions.

One of the items stolen is a silver teapot, with a coat of arms belonging to the Crawley-Boevey family of Flaxley Abbey on it.

Also stolen was a silver card holder and a silver spoon.
