AN acid spill at a metal recycling factory in Cinderford caused the plant to be evacuated on Monday evening. A 5,000 litre tank containing hydrochloric acid collapsed at the BASF site on Forest Vale Road. "Our staff tested nearby watercourses on Monday night and Tuesday morning to monitor for environmental impacts, and so far no impacts have been found."
