CLIMATE group Extinction Rebellion will be taking their message to the Forest of Dean MP Mark Harper directly on Saturday and lobbying him outside his local office.

The group, which has already protested in Lydney and Coleford this year, will be one of many arms of the group across the country which will be publicising their Declaration of Rebellion on the environment.

The group will begin a two-town day of action by marching to Mr Harper’s office in Cinderford which will be their response to the lack of communication, they say, the Forest MP has had with them.

The group say they asked Mr Harper to ‘familiarise himself with the latest scientific evidence of the seriousness of the threat of climate change’ but have not heard from him.

They will be gathering at 9.45am at the Co-op car park in Cinderford before walking to The Triangle with placards and banners about their cause.
