A FORMER Lydney magistrate has been put on the sex offender's register after propositioning a teenage schoolgirl.

David Jones invited the 14-year-old girl to have sexual intercourse in his car in the town.

Worcester Crown Court was told that the girl got in the car after asking to use his mobile telephone because hers had run out.
