BROADWELL AFC will once again host BroadFest this summer, with organisers bringing the popular music event forward in the calendar for 2026.
The festival will take place at the club’s Foxes Lane ground in Broadwell on Saturday, July 18, with gates opening at 12.30pm and live music beginning from 2pm.
Tickets are priced at £5 on the gate, with card payments available for £6, and organisers are promising a full day of entertainment, food and refreshments.
BroadFest has become a regular fixture on the local calendar and this year’s event will feature performances from several acts, including Urban Freeway Band, XL5 Band and solo vocalist Hannah May. DJ Lee Cooper and local favourites Thick As Thieves are also set to appear throughout the day.
Alongside the music, festivalgoers will be able to enjoy food stands, a burger van and a fully stocked bar, with organisers promising a lively atmosphere from start to finish.
In a post announcing the event, Broadwell AFC said: “BroadFest is back and a little earlier this year.
“Join us at Broadwell AFC on Saturday 18th July 2026 for a full day of live music, good vibes and drinks flowing all day long.
“Amazing line-up. Great atmosphere. One day you won’t want to miss.”
The event is expected to attract supporters from across the Forest of Dean and beyond, with organisers encouraging people to gather their friends and enjoy an afternoon and evening of live entertainment in the village.
Broadwell AFC’s Foxes Lane ground is located just outside Coleford and has hosted a number of community events in recent years, with BroadFest continuing to grow in popularity among music lovers and local residents alike.
