LONG-ESTABLISHED Cinderford firm Englehards is expanding and has relaunched under a new name.
The precious metals recycling business will be moving its labs, production areas and offices to a large industrial unit opposite the current site in the Forest Vale Industrial Estate.
American firm Englehards was taken over by global chemical company BASF in 2006 and last week the Cinderford facility officially changed its name to BASF Metals Recycling.
The new production plant, which will be officially launched in three weeks' time, will be used for recycling catalytic converters from scrapped vehicles.
Representatives will not say whether the move will create more jobs, at present.
