TWO defensive mistakes meant Ellwood got nothing from another encouraging display.
Ellwood fell behind to a breakaway goal against the run of play, but continued to play some decent football.
They equalised when a long kick from goalkeeper Tim Yemm was flicked on by Byron Ranford. Kerry Hale gambled on getting the ball and a decent touch left him one-on-one with the visiting keeper. He found the net with a cool finish.
Hale turned from hero to villain when a lay-back to Derek Roberts was intercepted for Sodbury's second goal.
Ollie Tait's back pass to Tim Yemm was then way too short, gifting Sodbury another goal.
Tim Yemm was outstanding in the second half, making some fine saves, while Matt Addis also looked lively in attack.
