BERRY Hill made it 20 league and cup wins on the trot with their biggest success of the season at Lakers Road on Saturday.

A crisp spring day and a dry pitch made conditions perfect for attacking rugby and Hill didn't disappoint – running in nine tries against a team who usually provide stiff opposition.

The visitors couldn't handle centre Matt Powell (pictured) and he led the way with a hat-trick of tries.

Kurt Brown, Dan Field, Luke Hunter, James Legge and Josh Cooke all got their names on the scoresheet – as did Lee Hanson, who scored his first points for the Hill first XV after coming on for Lee Osborne at half-time. Hanson scored a try and a conversion, with Osborne booting four conversions.

At half-time Hill led 33-0 and the game was virtually over.

North Bristol put up more of a fight in the second period, but four tries in the final quarter reflected Hill's dominance.

This Saturday, Hill travel to Old Centralians, who are on a good run themselves. They will need to be at their very best to keep their winning run going.
