Brides-to-be in Westbury-on-Severn could hear bells ringing on their big day if the village wins ITV's People's Millions.
The bells at Westbury Church have been silent since 2005 and major repairs – and help from the public – are needed to get them going again.
Bell ringers in the village have entered the televised competition to win funds to overhaul the church tower and get everything working again in time for the Queen's Jubilee in June next year.
"It's sad that Westbury brides can't have wedding bells on the biggest day of their life," said bell ringer Neil Tappin, who will be co-hosting the bid on ITV.
"We've actually had one bride who wants to get married in the village asking us to record church bells and play them over a loudspeaker."
Westbury's bid will go head-to-head with another project on ITV West News on Monday, June 27 at 6pm.
Winners will be selected through phone voting and the number can be found in that day's Daily Mirror or on http://www.jubileepeoplesmillions.org.uk">www.jubileepeoplesmillions.org.uk.
You can vote a maximum of 10 times from 9am until midnight that day and each call costs 11p.
