THE world’s favourite Liverpool-born Beatles tribute act The Mersey Beatles are playing the very same towns, cities and famous British venues the original Fab Four did during the days of Beatlemania.

And as part of this truly interactive show, The Mersey Beatles will feature treasured stories and memories from fans who saw John, Paul, George and Ringo when they played Lydney 56-years ago.

The Beatles played Lydney Town Hall in August 1962. At the time, drummer Ringo Starr had only been in the group for a fortnight. Four days later the band went into Abbey Road Studios to record their first single Love Me Do.

So, were you at this gig? What was your highlight? Did you meet the band? Did you scream? Did you meet your sweetheart while Twisting and Shouting? What made The Beatles so special?

The Mersey Beatles will project these stories – and the names of the fans who supplied them – onto a screen on stage at their Lydney Town Hall show.

Tickets for The Mersey Beatles show at Lydney Town Hall on Wednesday November 21 are on sale now from the venue or ticketmaster.co.uk.
