HE whole country is suffering at the hands of the recession. What we seem to be forgetting are the animals that are also suffering at the hands of the financial credit crunch.

We at New Start Cat Rescue have seen a significant rise in people losing their houses and finding themselves in the rental market. Most rentals specify no pets which then causes a knock on effect of homeless cats and dogs.

We are in the kitten season now and are already full of cats and youngsters.

New Start Cat Rescue Charity is desperate for the public to support us in order for us to support our feline friends. We are financially struggling with vet's bills which are escalating into thousands.

The Charity needs funding or sponsorship to buy more pens to house more cats, if we can do this it will help remove the stray cats from the streets.

We at New Start Cat Rescue would be happy to promote any landlords and properties who will allow pets. This would lead to more animals not being dumped or handed in to shelters like ourselves.
