IT'S JUST over a week since Eric Morris stood up in a public meeting and told experts how the Lydbrook flooding problem should be resolved.
But on Saturday morning the 80-year-old president of the Freeminers' Association was found slumped over the wheel of his car in a wood leading to Astonbridge Quarry.
Paramedics believe that Eric had died after suffering a massive heart attack and told his family that there was nothing they could have done to save him.
