A 24-year-old Cinderford woman is to stand jury trial on charges of robbing two other women of clothing and handbags in the town.

At Cheltenham Magistrates' Court on January 17, Sydney Beach, of Belle Vue Road, Cinderford, pleaded not guilty to assaulting Anna Weyman by beating and robbing her of a jacket and two hoodies worth £87 in Cinderford on November 12 last year.

She also denied robbing Michelle Jannetta of four handbags worth £164, also in Cinderford, on December 1.

The magistrates remanded her in custody pending her first appearance before Gloucester Crown Court on February 11.
