A 22 year old Coleford man has been banned from driving for a year and ordered to pay fines, costs and surcharges totalling £657 after he was caught at the wheel with excess cocaine in his blood.

Keiran Martin, of Greenways Drive, pleaded guilty at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court to having benzoylecgonine – a metabolyte of cocaine – in his body at more than the legal limit.

The offences took place while he was driving a Peugeot 208 in Forest Road, Lydney, on November 15.

He also admitted having a trace amount of cocaine in his possession on the same date.

He was also fined £520 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £52 surcharge.

It requires Woolley to attend up to 15 rehab activity days.
