THE family of a 70-year-old Blakeney mum who died in hospital from septicaemia is to complain to health chiefs about her treatment.

Mother-of-five Ann Buckland was suffering from numerous complex medical problems when she went into Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.

But her daughter Delphine Butler believes mistakes were made in her treatment and she and her family have hired a solicitor to make an official complaint.

After an inquest into her mother's death, she said she was not happy with the verdict of natural causes.

"It's like the coroner's court is scared to go against the medical services," she said.
