VISITORS are being encouraged to support the Dean Heritage Centre after it introduced a donation-based entry model to keep the Forest of Dean attraction accessible to all.

The change allows families to pay what they can rather than a fixed admission fee, helping to make the centre more inclusive during school holidays while still supporting its upkeep.

The centre offers both indoor displays and outdoor play areas, making it a popular choice for a family day out, with visitors also able to use the café or bring a picnic.

Organisers say donations will be vital in helping to maintain the attraction and ensure this important part of the Forest’s heritage remains open for future generations.
