A ROSS-on-Wye-based caterer is providing home-cooked food and bespoke celebration cakes for events across the Forest of Dean and neighbouring areas.

Caption Catering is run by Karen, who has been developing the business by supplying catering and cake design for a wide range of occasions, including weddings, birthdays, corporate lunches and funeral teas.

Operating from Ross-on-Wye, the business covers the Forest of Dean, Hereford, Gloucester and surrounding communities, responding to growing demand for locally produced food and personalised service. Menus are designed to suit individual events and can range from canapés and buffets to grazing tables, afternoon teas and tailored options for private and community gatherings.

Alongside catering, Caption Catering also creates celebration cakes and cupcake bouquets for birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers and other milestones. Each cake is made to order, with designs discussed in advance to reflect the occasion.

Karen said the emphasis of the business is on quality, presentation and attention to detail, with food prepared fresh for each booking. Customers work directly with her throughout the planning process, from initial ideas through to delivery on the day.

All food is produced under a five-star food hygiene rating, and the business is fully insured.
