A Coleford cafe has been forced to close after a fire broke out in a freezer.
Two fire crews from the town, who backed up by a crew from Cinderford, were called out at 4.40am to the fire at Christina's in Pyart Court.
A shopkeeper dialled 999 after the fire alarms started going off at the cafe.
A total of seventeen fire-fighters dealt with the blaze which severely damaged 10 per cent of the building.
A note on the shuttered business said that due to the damage there was no choice but to close the cafe, but it would reopen "as soon as possible".
