A coffee morning in support of Dean Farm Trust has raised an impressive £712 thanks to the generosity of local residents and businesses.

The event, organised by Drew Property Law, took place from 10AM to 12PM and brought together dozens of supporters for tea, coffee, and a tempting selection of homemade cakes. The star baker of the day, Mandi Tranter, was singled out for praise for her delicious contributions which proved a huge hit with visitors.

Alongside the refreshments, guests could take part in a raffle with a hamper among the prizes, browse the cake stall, and sponsor animals cared for by Dean Farm Trust. The combination of cake sales, raffle ticket purchases, and sponsorships helped the total soar past the £700 mark.

By the end of the morning, 11 of the 13 animals available for sponsorship had been supported by attendees with Drew Property Law generously stepping in to sponsor the remaining two. The sponsored animals include pigs, goats, and ponies, each now guaranteed continued care at the sanctuary.

Local businesses and individuals played their part with Hattons Estate Agents sponsoring Mabel and George, Jade Leigh Sollars sponsoring Mirella, Laura Piccirilli sponsoring Uncle Watson, and Aimée Jane Fennell backing Rusty Braveheart. Others included Susie Maskell Drew sponsoring Taco, Aroha Properties and Rapport Mortgage Services Limited sponsoring Buttercup and Clover, and Dean Estate Agents’ Grace sponsoring Bobby Sprinkles.

A spokesperson for Drew Property Law said the morning had been a “huge success” and expressed gratitude to everyone who attended or donated: “Your kindness and generosity have made a real difference to the rescued animals who call Dean Farm Trust their forever home.”

Dean Farm Trust, based near Chepstow, provides lifelong sanctuary to neglected and mistreated animals including horses, sheep, pigs, and goats. Events like this coffee morning help the charity continue its work offering them safety, care, and a second chance at life.
