CINDERFORD Town Council are urging residents to “be vigilant” after two electronic speeding signs were stolen in recent weeks.

The council reported the theft of vehicle advisory signs and connected solar panels to police on Friday, January 6.

The signs were located on Speech House Road and St White’s Road.

The council says the signage had been helping to reduce speeding in those areas.

In a Facebook post about the thefts last Thursday (January 12), the council said: “Please could Cinderford residents who live near existing signs be vigilant to ensure other signs are not stolen.”

The council has appealed to anyone with information to come forward.
