A 25-year-old Cinderford man who rode a moped while over the drink-drive limit has been banned from the roads for 13 months.
Nathan Sherwood of Albert Road pleaded guilty at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court to using an AJS moped in Victoria Street, Cinderford, on January 16 when he had 42micrograms of alcohol in his breath.
The legal limit is 35 micrograms.
He was ordered to pay fines, costs and surcharges totalling £253 by February 28.
The ban will be reduced by 13 weeks if he completes a driving course by September 29.
