Cinderford St John v Tewkesbury
CINDERFORD are still searching for their first win of the season after losing a low scoring nail-biter to Tewkesbury by just one wicket.
Put into bat, Cinderford tried hard to occupy the crease with Matt Whitney making 51 and number 10 Mark Roberts adding a much needed 24 not out.
They lost their last wicket in the 44th over as Hill picked up 3-31.
Conditions continued to favour the bowlers after tea and Cinderford fought back with some terrific spells from Mark House (3-27), Simon Gwynne (2-48) and Mark Roberts (2-17). The game could have gone either way, but ex-Redmarley all-rounder Ben Gwilliam steered Tewkesbury home by the skin of their teeth with an important knock of 47 not out.
