BROADWELL chanteuse Cici-Rose has joined forces with the pupils from St Anthony’s Primary School in Cinderford to record a single for two children’s charities.

The singer/songwriter, and former pupil at St Anthony’s, is supporting Young Minds and Kids Run Free, with the single ‘Unstoppable’ which is released on iTunes on Friday, June 30.

Cici-Rose is a graduate of the London Theatre School and appeared with Katy Perry in a 2015 television advert for the H&M fashion store.

She wrote and recorded Unstoppable at the Aurophonic Studios and made the final touches at the legendary Abbey Road Studios, London.

Cici-Rose said: “I wanted to write a song that would inspire and drive people to believe in themselves no matter what battles they are facing and to go after their goals and aspirations in life.

“I really hope I can help others with the message of this song and raise awareness for these two great charities.

“I was absolutely thrilled to return to my old primary school, to record the voices of some pupils who will be featuring on the song.

“As a child I learnt ways to cope with family mental illness, but there are people more so now than ever that need support and Young Minds can give people hope, strength and just someone to talk to.”

Chris Powell, Interim Headteacher at St Anthony’s Primary School said: “We’ve heard the song and it’s fantastic and were delighted at the chance to feature on a charity single. We’re also really proud to be helping support two charities that are doing such great work for kids around the country.”
