LOCALS in Lydney have met with the new manager of the town's railway station to voice their concerns.

Georgina Cottrell was told about 'poor rail connections from Lydney to Bristol and Gloucester'.

One of the key issues in Lydney is passenger safety - with campaigners stressing the need for the underpass, which was closed on health and safety grounds, to be re-opened for use by the public.
