A FOREST entrepreneur and real ale lover wants to turn a Coleford shop into a micro-pub.

Ian Jones runs the Cobblers micro-pub in Newent, as well as helping run the family business, Newent News, and working as a salesman.

Now, he wants to convert the old carpet shop in St John's Street into a micro-pub.

He said: "Micro-pubs are different to normal pubs as they only sell real ale, ciders and wines without all the razzmatazz."
