BREAM Gardening Society held their annual autumn show on Saturday (November 1) which also hosted the Dean Beekeepers’ Association’s honey show for the first time.
Entries for the show, which took place at the West Dean Centre, were up by some 10 per cent on last year.
Cups were presented for flowers, vegetables, arts and crafts, domestic, honey and schools competition.
The cup for the best exhibit in the horticultural section went to Trudy Breadman for her basket of produce.
Teresa Barnett’s “crazy patchwork” entry earned her the best exhibit accolade for the other sections.
Show president Diana Standing said: “I would thank everybody for coming – particularaly the people who exhibited – no exhibits, no show.
The whole thing has been a wonderful success.”
