TOWN fought back from 2-0 down for a deserved point, despite having defender Dan Harrison sent off for a late tackle.

Town started with new signing Josh Egan in attack.

Egan has joined the club on loan from Bath City, but was previously with Championship outfit Blackpool.

Both sides opened brightly with Egan and Nick McCootie troubling the visitors with their pace.

Gosport rattled the Town woodwork before taking the lead through a 35th minute penalty, coolly slotted by James Taylor.

Two minutes into the second half Gosport scored again with a terrific strike from Bennett.

Cinderford refused to buckle and pegged a goal back on 70 minutes when McCootie was tripped in the box. Lewis Sommers knocked in the penalty.

Nine minutes later Sommers fired the equaliser from another penalty, this time awarded for a handball by Molyneaux.

Harrison, on as a sub, received a straight red card for a late challenge on James Ford.

Despite being a man down, Cinderford finished the stronger and McCootie was denied a winner by a smart save from Pryce in the Gosport goal.
