IT'S the end of an era for Cinderford' s Victorian police station as it is being replaced on Friday with a new hub.

But when one door closes another one opens as Martin Surl, Gloucestershire's Police and Crime Commissioner officially opens the Dean's newest police point at the Belle Vue Centre on Friday.

The new facility will be the new focal point for policing for the Cinderford area and is based in Cinderford Town Council offices.
