THE Bog Trotters, a passionate group of rugby players from Ross-on-Wye and clubs across the Forest of Dean, unite through their love for rugby and an even greater purpose – raising vital funds for Parkinson’s UK and Brain Research UK.
The charity rugby match, held as part of Y Fest in Ross, is a celebration of community, compassion, and the unifying power of rugby.
The Bog Trotters has over 70 players, aged 18 to 50, proudly pulling on the jersey, this team is a testament to the incredible spirit of the wider Forest rugby community.
The opposition was Pronto Rugby, a national ‘Nomad’ side blending elite rugby with social impact and both teams will be benefiting their chosen causes from the money raised on the night.
