THE death of 20-year-old Bethan Rosetta has sent a shock wave through Newent after her body was found by the town's lake.

Bethan was reported missing in the early hours of Saturday and a member of the public called the police when they came across the body of the former Hartpury College student on a footpath next to Newent Lake later the same day.

Police and paramedics were called to the scene.

Bethan, who grew up in Barry, worked at Newent firm Britdoors.
