A WOMAN’S body has been found in the River Wye.

And while the identify of the woman has not been formally completed, the family of Sedbury woman Tina Bollen (Williams) have been informed.

Tina, aged 58 from Penda Place, Sedbury, Chepstow, was last seen at 11pm on Thursday evening at her home address.  Police described her as vulnerable at the time of her disappearance.

On Friday, Gloucestershire Police informed: “A body has been found in connection with the search for Tina Bollen (Williams) who had been reported missing from Sedbury, Chepstow.

“The body was found in the River Wye at Chepstow earlier today. While formal identification has not yet taken place, Tina’s family has been informed.

“The circumstances of the death are not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner. 

“Gloucestershire Constabulary would like to thank Severn Area Rescue Association (SARA) for their assistance in the search and all those who helped share the appeal to try and find Tina.

“Our thoughts are with Tina’s family at this time.”
