BOB Morgan and Adrian Williams were forced to retire their Impreza on the first stage of last year's Wyedean, following a turbo fire.
However, Bob (pictured) says the Wyedean is still his favourite event – with Serridge his number one stage.
The Winner Garage owner has had a fantastic career in motorsport and this will be his 24th Wyedean.
He's a serious contender to be the top local finisher.
He said: "My best Wyedean result is fifth, but I've had other top 10s.
"My first event was in a Honda Civic. The first time I finished I came 62nd, with Anthony Moore co-driving."
Paul Loveridge and Dave Saunders also navigated for Bob, but Adrian Williams has been on the notes for the last couple of decades.
Adrian, now 44, first met Bob when he went to work for him as a 16-year-old. Bob said: "I can remember watching the Dean when I was about 10.
"Roger Clark was my hero, I met him a few times and he was a great ambassador for the sport."
Bob's son Jason is now following him into the sport.
Jason will be competing this year in an Impreza, with Gareth Pritchard co-driving.
